Rebuilding a Deck for Lasting Strength and Timeless Appeal

The project began by removing the old deck, railing, staircase, and skirting. Once cleared, we found that the original framework didn’t meet modern standards. The joist spacing was too wide, so we installed new treated lumber joists with proper spacing to ensure a stable and secure foundation for the new structure.
A key request from the homeowners was a picture frame border around the deck’s edge. We carefully cut and installed the Trex decking to form sharp, clean lines, and finished the design with Trex Transcend railing, which adds both function and elegance.
