Building a Two-Tier Deck That Connects Space and Style
Project Overview
When the homeowners in Dayton, Ohio, reached out to The Custom Deck Guys, their old deck no longer met their needs. It was worn and unsafe, offering little in terms of functionality or visual appeal. Scope of Work
Preparation
We began by obtaining the necessary blueprints and permits, ensuring the project would meet all local building codes. This careful planning laid the foundation for a deck that would perfectly match the homeowners’ vision.
Demolition and Removal
The old deck was completely torn out, clearing the area for something new. We removed all decking, framing, and supports, preparing the space for the fresh build.
Framing
The new frame was constructed using premium treated lumber, ensuring both durability and strength. With precise alignment and secure anchoring, we created a solid foundation for the deck. Adjustments were made near the shed to achieve a smooth, two-tiered layout that connected both levels.
Decking Installation
